The days following Christmas by camera started acting up even more than it normally did...even to the point where if it would turn on at all it would only take one picture at a time...and that required a bizarre and strangely uncomfortable form of digital camera yoga that despite my desire to remain healthy...I just wasn't into. So when I got to Logan I decided it was time to purchase a new camera. So after shamelessly and overtly flirting with the sales clerks in Best Buy, I walked away with a new Canon PowerShot SD790 IS.
That night as I was trying to figure it all out without having to submit myself to the medieval torture of actually reading the manual...everyone disappeared at the endless stream of flashes. All, but Rosie that is... so the beautiful wrinkly pup became the next super model... work it girl!
Later Gina helped me figure out some of the cool things my new camera will do....
Do black and white except for one color...

Long shutters so sisters can appear to be eaten by trees

Fairly decent zoom...

I like it...I've had it about two weeks now and have taken over 200 pictures....it's a little out of control. I need a therapist... oh, wait. I am one.
