VOTE!!

This video was, obviously, created by the Catholics, but applies to every American. While I may not always agree with my family about issues, they have always taught (and modeled) that I should use my constitutional privilege and right to vote. There are a lot of issues. There's probably not one candidate that fits your values and beliefs perfectly... As for me, I'll choose the one that best fits my beliefs and then oppose them on the issues I find wrong. Why? Because I can. Because through the work of inspired men, I have been given the freedom of speech, the freedom to disagree, and the freedom to choose life and liberty over death and bondage. I encourage all to do the same. I don't care who you vote for. Just vote.

Official

Now starting my third year of my big kid job, and not liking any of the boring options for cards that the county offers, I decided to get me some business cards. Wahoo!! I'm official!! Now when people ask, "What's your number?" I can say with a definitive air (and perhaps a British accent), "Here, have one of my cards..."

By the way, I got them at www.vistaprint.com

I'm a Diva!!

...a Workout Diva that is! In the month of August I worked out at least three times a week for the whole month! That means I'm a Diva and my name gets to be on the board for the whole month! Wahoo!!

I can't promise such a remarkable feat for September... Our club just upgraded to "Smart" machines (meaning that they help us with Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely goals). I know that it's probably going to make me work a lot harder than I necessarily want to and may therefore alter my motivation. I just hope it doesn't make me too sore. :o)
